New York City is used as a baseline with all of its indices at 100. This means that, for example, since Zurich has a groceries index of 127, on average, groceries in Zurich are 27% more expensive than in New York City.
Instructions
The filters' minimum and maximum are initialized to the minimum and maximum in the dataset for that index. Use the sliders to filter out cities on the map.
Use the drop-down menu on the map to set the index to be used for the color scale.
Scroll to zoom in and out of the map.
Hover over cities to see more details in the bar chart, and click on them to see more details on the scatter plot.
Click again on a city or the row in the scatter plot to deselect a city.
